- Vehicle Type (Second Character): Denotes the body style, such as 2-3 Door (B), Wagon/Estate (W), or SUV (F).
- Transmission and Drive (Third Character): Specifies the transmission type and drive system, including Manual (M), Automatic (A), and variations like 4WD (B) or AWD (D).
- Fuel Type and Air Conditioning (Fourth Character): Identifies the fuel type — Gasoline (V), Diesel (D), Hybrid (H), Electric (E)—and whether the vehicle is equipped with air conditioning.
